Most often respite care takes place in the families own home where Colors Healthcare’s professional caregivers provide an opportunity for the family members to have some time to themselves — to shop, to visit the dentist or doctor, or to spend time with other children or a spouse.
Colors Healthcare offers Respite care services in out-of-home and in-home settings for any length of time, depending on the needs of your family. A period of respite may be a few hours to a few days in length. These breaks can help to relieve stress, restore energy, and promote balance in your life.

Our caregivers are OUR employees who are dependable and trustworthy selected through rigorous hiring practices in which all applicants go through tests and screenings focusing on skills, experience, attitudes and placement into homes. All our caregivers are covered by workers compensation, bonded and insured.
Our caregivers are supervised by a registered nurse, who makes regular home visits to ensure the health and safety of our clients.
Many of staff members have extensive experience caring for Alzheimer’s and dementia patients.
