  • Are you licensed by the state of New Jersey as a health care services agency?

    Yes, Colors Healthcare is licensed as a Home Health Care Services Firm, meeting the State’s requirements for home care agencies. We are regulated by the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs and Board of Nursing.

  • Do I pay the caregiver directly?

    All caregivers are employees of Colors Healthcare, you will not have to pay them directly, nor will you be asked to pay an additional fee to the employees. Colors Healthcare takes care of all required federal and state taxes, employee Social Security taxes, and Worker’s Compensation Insurance.

  • What are your service areas?

    We provide home health care services on an hourly basis throughout northern New Jersey and live-in services throughout the entire State.

  • Will Colors Healthcare share my health information with anyone?

    No. Colors Healthcare respects your privacy. We adhere to all applicable federal and state guidelines related to privacy of personal and healthcare information.

  • How does the cost of Colors Healthcare compare with assisted living or nursing home care?

    Costs do vary from coast to coast and also on your needs. However, on an average the cost of Colors Healthcare runs about 1/3 the cost of an Assisted Living Facility and even less if compared to a skilled facility.

  • Is Colors Healthcare service only available in the home?

    No, we can provide our services to you whether you live at home or a senior’s complex or health care facility.

  • Can I change the schedule if I have appointments to keep?

    We will make the schedule as per your requirements. Changes can be made easily just by calling us at a 24 hour notice.

  • How do I start home care services with Colors Healthcare?

    We are just a call away. Call 1-877-9COLORS (1-877-9-265677) to find a caregiver near you. We will have our staff come to your home and conduct a free, no obligation assessment. We will then, at your direction, identify caregivers who have the skills, personality and availability to assist you. You then will be able to meet the caregiver and if you approve, they will begin working for you.

  • Is there a minimum term of Care?

    Colors Healthcare has a 4 hours service minimum per visit, which can be scheduled as many times a week as you would like.

  • How do I know if my caregiver is qualified?

    Colors Healthcare adheres to the highest standards for hiring our staff. Our caregivers are selected after a rigorous interviewing process including national background checks, professional and personal reference checks. Additionally, caregivers are regularly supervised and evaluated by management to ensure that you or your loved one is receiving the attention they deserve. We are highly skilled and sensitive to the physical and emotional needs of each patient.
